Walking on the snow-covered Alpine Route, looking up at the vast sky and snow walls

The Otani area, located in front of the Murodo Terminal, is covered with the deepest snow on the bus route. Nearly 20m-high snow walls tower the driveway when it opens in spring. For limited period, visitors can walk on a 500m-long trail in the snow corridor called “Yuki-no-Otani.” The towering snow walls are beyond comparison.
