Owara Kaze no Bon Festival Pre-event

Appreciate Owara dancing and historic streets in more relaxing atmosphere

Prior to the festival, the eleven communities which host the Owara Kaze no Bon Festival perform Owara dancing in turn every night. During this event, visitors can experience the traditional folk dance by joining the dancing circle, as well as enjoying the performance in a more relaxed atmosphere. The eleven communities are Nishishin-machi, Higashishin-machi, Suwa-machi, Kamishin-machi, Kagami-machi, Higashi-machi, Nichi-machi, Ima-machi, Shitashin-machi, Tanman-cho, and Fukushima. The events run from August 20 - 30 between 20:00 - 22:00 every night. (If it rains, the dance performance will be called off.) As the performance time and place may differ depending on the host community, it is recommended to confirm the information in advance. Event period: August 20 - 30
